Chipotle Wants You Back!

How many of you out there are loyal customers of Chipotle? Do you think your frequency of visiting Chipotle have been affected by two safety incidents in 2015? Well, those two incidents made enough impact that Chipotle chain suffered a 23.4% drop in revenue and a nearly 30% decrease in same-store sales in Q1 of this year. In Chipotle’s attempt to bring back its customers, it has started offering Chiptopia Summer Rewards on July 1, 2016, that will run through September 30, 2016. It is a limited time loyalty rewards program that gives people free food for making multiple visits in a month. This special rewards program resets each month, between July and September of 2016, and truly provides incentive for people to visit and purchase from Chipotle. It took me a while to find a good explanation on how this rewards program works and details of the three status levels (Mild, Medium, Hot) and bonus rewards (Free entree, $20 in merchandise, and free catering for 20 people), shared below:
