Just received a message from Project 7-Kids Love Yoga Camp, invitation by Mary Brown. This event will take place between June 27-June 30, 2016, 8:30 AM-1:30 PM, at 612 Virginia Dr., Orlando, FL, 407-203-8936, Ages 6-10, Price: $140. The Project 7 Yoga Kids Love Yoga Camp offers practices to strengthen the mind and body in children ages 6-10. Young Yogis will experience a week of yogic philosophy based on the “petals and poses” play-based practices. The camp will include breath work, playful yoga sequences, art projects, cooperative games, aromatherapy and more….
Some of the Objectives, listed below:
– Stretch and move young bodies to encourage a lifetime of health and wellness
– Create an inclusive yogic space where children come together to love and respect themselves and each other as they discover their own inner joy.
– Introduce and emphasize a mindfulness practice into young lives to enhance mental health and well-being.
– Offer age appropriate lessons with themes found in the Yoga Sutras so kids can incorporate practices of self-care, self-love, independence, and confidence into their school and family life.
Be sure not to eat about 1 hours before any yoga class. Be sure to drink plenty of water before class.

Meet the instructor:
Whitney Reynolds is a certified yoga instructor and early childhood educator who believes in the power and potential of young children. With a bachelor’s degree in early childhood development and training through the Young Yogi Program, she has designed a week of summer camp that will engage young children and help them learn healthy habits that will last a lifetime!
Keep in mind that yoga is not only good for one’s physical health, increased flexibility, but also great for increasing one’s ability in solving problems and calming one’s mind. Wouldn’t you like that for your kid(s)?
