There are definite advantages in living so close to Disney: we are exposed to a great variety of artistry that appeals to our senses, in sight, sound, scent, and stomach. The first time I was lured into My French Cafe (at 7782 Winter Garden Vineland Rd, Ste.100, Windermere, FL, 407-347-8945, Mon:closed, Tues-Sat.: 7:00 am-7:00 pm, Sun: 7:00 am-6:00 pm) was on a breezy summer afternoon, when the air current carried the irresistible aroma of a fresh batch of croissants, demanding attention. Upon entering, I was greeted by lovely French bistro music, friendly smiles of the server, and found a wide range of real French products, from pastries (such as Napoleon,

All made from scratch, daily, with the “French touch”. These beautifully delicious goodies may also be accompanied by a warm cup of cafe-au-lait, chocolate, or tea. There are plenty of seating either indoor or outdoor . I was instantly caught and became a loyal customer of this French-Bistro flavored bakery/pastry shop. It’s in a class/category by itself. I enjoyed the food at My French Cafe not just because I also speak some French, but because they do serve really delicious treats. Whenever hubby or I feel like giving ourselves a treat or trying to talk ourselves out of getting a big box of brownies or doghnuts, we come to My French Cafe for a small pastry

instead. This is how we handle size control. We fight our temptation with another temptation and it works out beautifully. How do you handle your sweet temptations?
