AACC (Asian American Chamber of Commerce)’s Speed Networking

Dear Friends & Neighbors,

AACC (Asian American Chamber of Commerce)
(Please click on red links & note magenta)
I attended a very interesting Speed Networking event organized by AACC of Central Florida(Asian American Chamber of Commerce of Central Florida) today, at Koy Wan Hibachi Buffet (945 W.State Rd. 436 #1179) of Altamonte Springs, FL that started around 11:30 A.M. The meeting was presided over by the current President Gail Rayos

and Vice President Don Nguyen, Esq

. Those who attended this event come from rather diverse backgrounds (from various parts of USA, China, France, India, Japan, Korea, Philipines, Taiwan, Vietnam etc.), presenting services/products such as: Heather Alley’s anti-aging skin care, real estate (Li Xu’s Florida Realty Investments, Peter Luu at Keller Williams, Khalid Muneer’s Jupiter Properties Inc.),June Wong’s accounting service, dragon boat race (Hailey Santora of GWN Dragon Boat), international trades (Elizabeth Krekel of Central Florida International Office), Services for Septic, Utilities, Jet/Vac & Marine (Xi Lu “Lucy” of Cloud 9 Services, Inc.), and Michael Borres of WorldVentures.com etc. It certainly gives one the feel of wide range of services based on global networking/connections associated with AACC.
The organizers of AACC surely know how to mix business with pleasure: this speed networking event was conducted very effectively as though one is attending a speed-dating event. One starts at a table of 3 or 4 people, each person gets about 2-3 minutes to present his/her business and exchange business cards. Upon the sound of the bell or ring, one proceeds to the next table of designated direction and prepare to repeat the cycle. The room in the restaurant is not noisy, so every one can be heard clearly. Essentially, every one gets equal time to present his/her business. So no one would feel left out or having wasted any time. Not to mention the element of feel of playing a game, anticipating when the bell will be ringing for the next round.
Another unique feature of AACC is that its board members all have uniform business cards, easily distinguished from rest of the attendants. If you have any question about this organization or wanting to become a member (membership guideline, with membership benefit), I would recommend checking out this site for its board members. Most of them have decades of business experience, with much insight and willingness to share and guide.

It is widely known that the success of any conference/gathering is often highly correlated to the “delicious level” of its food. Then, this event would definitely receive an A+, for Koy Wan Hibachi Buffet not only provided a great variety of fresh food items (a buffet of hibachi grilled eats, sushi, & Pan-Asian dishes)
but also having chef at hand to cook your personalized dishes.
Keep in mind that there is a 25% discount for the 2-year AACC membership right now. So, check out the AACC web site if you might be interested.
