It’s that time of the year when jolly and spriteful creativity may be found just around the corner, as I have done so while driving back from my yoga class. Near the roundabout of Downtown Windermere, I see that friendly and faithful Santa, full of presents to be delivered in his Christmas sleigh-boat parked right in front of the new owner, SKR & Keene Pointe Realty. I’ve been wondering about the fate of the dear old Santa and his sleigh-boat since this corner property changed its appearance…and can’t help but let out a cheerful “Hurray!” upon discovering that our dear old Santa is here to stay! It some how engenders certain warmth and sense of stability in our changing world. No matter how much warmer the planet has gotten, no matter how many versions of iPhone Apple has evolved to, come December, our dear old Santa is still here, waving in his speedy sleigh-boat, reassuring us that another holiday season will be celebrated here in the town of Windermere of Central Florida.
