Any one who drove by the roundabout in downtown Windermere this week couldn’t possibly have missed this bright banner with a hilarious-looking lobster in a grass skirt, oblivious of its own fate. If you’re interested in some food, drinks, music, and fun on September 14, 2014, between 4:00-8:00 P.M., check out The Pines at Windermere ( 3409 Maguire Road, Windermere, FL). Tickets may be purchased in advance at: www.WindermereRotary.org ($50 per individual ticket and $450 to reserve a table for 8). If ticket is purchased at the door, it will cost $60 per individual. Did you know that:
The Pines at Windermere is owned by OUC but available for reservation to the general public. When you book a party or event at The Pines at Windermere, you will have access to two rooms: one 7,840 square feet and the other 1,200 square feet. Both rooms are air conditioned and even the smaller one is large enough to accommodate 50 people. There are six barbeque pits on site, a separate restroom facility and an ice machine.
The Pines at Windermere’s recreation areas are extensive and include a basketball half-court, softball field, volleyball sand court with net, horseshoe pit and perhaps best of all – a beach and swimming area.
