Windermere Farmer’s Market

Dear Friends & Neighbors,
(Please click on red links and note magenta)
Remember the reason how/why I started this site, www.WindermereSun.com? In case you’ve come across this site for the first time, it was inspired by our local Windermere Farmer’s Market,

meeting every Friday at Downtown Windermere, FL, near the roundabout, near our Windermere Public Library at Main Street, between 9:00AM-2:00PM. Usually I’d be driving back from the Y, after my yoga class. Through my favorite winding road (heading West on Conroy-Windermere Rd), lined with aged trees graced with the swaying Spanish moss,

I would slow down near the roundabout at Downtown Windermere and look for a parking spot.
Soon, my senses would be embraced with light chatters, breeze touched with aroma of delicious food and spiced with beautiful sunshine…I would see booths filled with high quality home-made bread/pasta/honey/tamales/fragrant oil/beef jerky/jewelry/teas, healthy snacks such as kale, healthy pet food, nutrition & wellness therapy, books written by local author, fresh produce, beautiful flowering plants such as orchids and nature center/eco-camp, and even a martial arts training center. You may also get a feel of what it is like to stroll through the Windermere Farmer’s Market by checking out our “Image Gallery” and “Windermere Sun TV” in the topbar above.
