The town and area (incorporated and unincorporated subdivisions) of Windermere, FL are located approximately ten miles west of Orlando, known for its low crime rate (due to its responsive police department), surrounding pristine lakes (so pristine that it’s great for light planes to take-off),

plentiful cycling trails, and beautiful sunshine.

As Florida is one of the fastest growing states in USA, more and more subdivisions are cropping up in its unincorporated area every day. In this post, I will try to gather as complete a picture of the Windermere area for you as possible, starting from the original downtown/incorporated town of Windermere, followed by its ever expanding and beautiful unincorporated subdivisions.

Occasionally, if I were not able to find either, a neighborhood information page set up by a third party may be used.
