Folks (residents of Town of Windermere), keep in mind that in the coming week, there will be recurrent events of Virtual Town Hall Meetings designed for COVID-19 Updates & Q&A, organized by The Town of Windermere, for staying safe is being informed. Please join us for a “Virtual Town Hall” meeting at these time slots:

Special Note From Town of Windermere, in italics, below:
In order to make sure we are doing our part to keep our staff and community safe, we will be taking the following steps:
- Town Administration is closed for non-personnel. Staff are working from home
- Town Residents can email should they have a questions or concerns.
- All new building permits will be done through the PDCS online portal
- We are placing a moratorium on the following permits/passes/etc:
- We will not issue any additional Tennis Keys or Boat Passes
- The Fernwood Park, Lake Bessie, and 6th Avenue ramps are CLOSED
- We will not issue any garage sales
- All Town Hall rentals are on hold until further notice
- Open House Permit requirements are waived until further notice
- The Windermere Police Department Lobby is closed. Finger printing, VIN verification, etc. have been suspended. For all non emergency calls for assistance please utilize 407-905-6333
- We will not issue any additional Tennis Keys or Boat Passes
Any further closing, schedule changes, etc. will be posted on the Town website and various social media sites.

Let us be wary as the country is reopened. Let’s be cautious and wear facial coverings in public and continue practicing social distancing (at least 6 feet from others), for COVID-19 is not yet gone. It does appear that U.S. is deficient in testing and contact tracing at the moment. Let’s hope this will soon change. It is not likely that our life will return to normal until 2022, after the vaccine for COVID-19 will become available to general public globally.
