Since the post Americans Should Get Ready: It Is not A Question Of “If” But “When” COVID-19 Will Spread In USA was published in Windermere Sun on February 25, 2020, I’ve received many questions and concerning messages regarding whether or what to stock up on in case any one should need or want to be self-quarantined. So, allow me to share the video below to demonstrate how to start a 3 Week Prepper Food Pantry for emergencies and disaster preparedness. This video will show you step-by-step how to choose what items to put in your pantry, how much survival food you will need, food storage tips, and other items to consider when building your emergency food storage, in the video “Start a 3 WEEK Prepper Food Pantry“, below:
When getting into prepping, building a long-term food storage setup can be intimidating. By starting with just a 2 week food backup, you can start down the path of ensuring your family will be covered during a major catastrophe, in the video “How to easily build a 2 week emergency food supply“, below:
Christa Swartz of Prepsteaders.com shows at least 21 Foods that can last up to a century without spoiling. If you have wondered what to stock your pantry with, this is a great place to start! Prepsteading starts with simple steps like learning about and storing up a bit of food that can last without requiring refrigeration or extensive preservation techniques. Let us know what to add to this list if you are familiar with other foods that last forever, in the video “21 Forever Foods … and a few we wish would, too!“
In the video “Top 15 Forever Foods for Survival“, below:
Bobby Parish was sick the last 7 days, and lots of people around the country were sick too. It’s really important to eat food that can help you get over a cold as well as drinking the right fluids. Drinking herbal tea with raw, locally sourced honey is a good idea, but coffee and caffeine should be avoided. Food rich in probiotics are great, but you want to avoid dairy when you are sick, creates thicker phlegm. Check out the whole video and let me know if you have any other foods and treatments that are good to eat when you are sick, in the video “Top 5 Things To Eat & Drink When You Are Sick… And What To Avoid!“, below:

*Keep in mind that much can be regrown from your kitchen scrap: green onion, garlic, ginger, onion, potato, tomato, lettuce, etc. (just ask youtube for hints & look at the images below):
