The official number released at the completion of the manual recount of Florida Senate midterm election, as of Sunday, November 18, 2018, indicated that Governor Rick Scott was leading by 10,033 over incumbent Senator Bill Nelson. Before the manual recount, Scott had a lead of 12,603 votes. It appeared that Rick Scott will become the next Florida Senator.
The election canvassing committee will meet on Tuesday, November November 20, 2018, to certify these results.
On Sunday, Bill Nelson conceded the Florida Senate race to Rick Scott.
