A second accuser, Deborah Ramirez (Brett Kavanaugh’s Yale classmate), had come forward with sexual misconduct allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. She came forward just before Dr. Christine Blasey Ford decided to testify at the Senate Judiciary Committee open hearing on Thursday, September 27, 2018, regarding sexual misconduct of Brett Kavanaugh. White House continued to declare its support for the Kavanaugh nomination for the Supreme Court. Apparently the Republican staffers were informed of the Ramirez’s accusation last week. Last night, Senator Kristen Gillibrand tweeted, in italics, below:
“Senate Republicans were trying to rush a vote while they knew Deborah Ramirez would come forward with her story. They deny Dr. Ford an FBI investigation, won’t subpoena corroborating witnesses, and now, this. It’s an embarrassment. They have absolutely no interest in the truth.”
A second allegation of sexual misconduct against Judge Brett Kavanaugh raises new concerns about his Supreme Court nomination. One of his Yale classmates tells the New Yorker magazine Kavanaugh exposed himself to her at a party nearly 35 years ago. She wants an FBI investigation, while Kavanaugh says the charge is a “smear.” Nancy Cordes reports, in the video “Will Kavanaugh nomination survives as 2nd accuser comes forward?” below:
Again, I reiterate, if perjury and obstruction of justice was sufficient to lead to the charges of impeachment of Bill Clinton, then perjury + multiple accusers of sexual misconduct should lead to disqualification from nomination. Keep in mind that Bill Clinton was serving a 4 year term and Supreme Court Justice would be life term. The simple fact is: there are many well qualified justices in the United States who have not yet lied under oath nor sexually harassed any female colleagues in the past. I was under the impression that we should be picking from the top of the barrel rather than from the bottom. Or did I miss the memo ?!

I am a mother/wife/daughter, math professor, solar advocate, world traveler, yogi, artist, photographer, sharer of knowledge/information, and resident of Windermere, FL. I've worked professionally in applied math, engineering, medical research, and as a university math professor in IL and FL for about 20 years. My husband and I loved Disney and moved down to Central Florida initially as snowbirds. But we've come to love the warmth and friendly people offered by this community and decided to move down to Windermere, FL full time in 2006. I am now spending time sharing information/ knowledge online, promoting understanding of math and solar energy (via http://www.sunisthefuture.net ), and developing Windermere Sun (http://www.WindermereSun.com) as an online publication, sharing and promoting Community ABC's (Activities-Businesses-Collaborations) for healthier/happier/more sustainable living. In the following posts, I'll be sharing with you some of the reasons why Windermere has attracted us to become full-time residents of Central Florida region.
