I’ve received the message from Larry Rumbough, the Coordinator of Central Florida Earth Day, announcing the event, below, in italics:
The 13th annual Central Florida EarthDay will happen on Saturday, April 21 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Lake Eola Park in downtown Orlando! You are invited to participate!
If you have already completed your application, thank you and welcome! Please check the Vendors page of the website to confirm that your name and link are accurate. If not, please call (not e-mail) me to make any correction.
The online vendor packet is available on the Vendor Packet page of the website. If you are interested in participating, please complete the application as soon as possible. In order for previous vendors to receive the 20% discount, their applications must be completed by February 28 (all payments must be made by March 31).
Whether or not you are a vendor, you can share your information with thousands of EarthDay attendees! Place an ad in the EarthDay program, several thousand of which will be printed (on recycled paper) for attendees. Advertisers will be listed as contributors on the EarthDay website and in the EarthDay program. They may also provide their brochures and business cards for distribution at EarthDay Central at no additional cost. Sponsors receive an ad as part of their package. Ads are black & white. The deadline to submit your ad is April 13, 2018. Please go to the Advertise page to complete the Advertising Form.
EarthDay will feature a raffle with many great prizes! All money raised will be donated to the animal rescue groups at the EarthDay Animal Haven. Donors will be acknowledged on the EarthDay website, in the EarthDay program, and announced at the event. If you are interested in contributing a prize to the raffle (such as a gift certificate, gift basket, or other prize), please go the Raffle page to complete the Raffle Form. All donations are 100% tax deductible! Please help the animals by supporting the EarthDay raffle!
If you haven’t already done so, please promote EarthDay on your website, to your e-mail lists, and any other way you can think of. Please RSVP on the EarthDayFacebookevent page. Participants in the event are welcome to promote your participation there.
There is a lot of exciting news about the event that will be announced soon. We hope that you will join us for the biggest and best EarthDay event in Central Florida!
I am a mother/wife/daughter, math professor, solar advocate, world traveler, yogi, artist, photographer, sharer of knowledge/information, and resident of Windermere, FL. I've worked professionally in applied math, engineering, medical research, and as a university math professor in IL and FL for about 20 years. My husband and I loved Disney and moved down to Central Florida initially as snowbirds. But we've come to love the warmth and friendly people offered by this community and decided to move down to Windermere, FL full time in 2006. I am now spending time sharing information/ knowledge online, promoting understanding of math and solar energy (via http://www.sunisthefuture.net ), and developing Windermere Sun (http://www.WindermereSun.com) as an online publication, sharing and promoting Community ABC's (Activities-Businesses-Collaborations) for healthier/happier/more sustainable living. In the following posts, I'll be sharing with you some of the reasons why Windermere has attracted us to become full-time residents of Central Florida region. Please feel free to leave your comments via email at "Contact Us" in the topbar above or via [email protected]
