” No man is an island,” is a famous line from Devotions upon Emergent Occasions, a 1624 work by the English poet John Donne. In recent years, neuroscientists have caught up with the wisdom of the 17th century poet in recognizing how important it is for us to stay connected and engaged with other people.  Many studies indicated that maintaining rich, meaningful relationships and social interaction is a key ingredient (along with physical exercise, nutrition, brain training, and lifelong learning ) in the recipe for cognitive sharpness. Therefore, it is wonderful for many Central Floridian youth, as well as seniors,  that YESS (Youth Enrichment and Senior Services) of Florida  have been established since November of 2014, in Fashion Square Mall at 3201 E. Colonial, Suite M-25, Orlando, FL.
